Drugged by jazz music and alcohol


The literature talks and the beauty of the city, which was a small one for a man who was in love with New York, had been stimulating enough to make them envision a road trip to the Highlands and then South, bedding and breakfasting all the UK from sea to sheet grey sea. But the Jazz Bar in Chambers Street was the furthest they got together. Drugged by jazz music and alcohol, she desired to become the cigarette between the fingers and the lips of Dutch Daniël. She desired to be the smoke penetrating into the hair of that dirty blond Jack Kerouac.
